What is Rejuran?

Originating from Korea, Rejuran is an injectable treatment containing polynucleotides (PNs), which are essentially short fragments of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) derived from salmon DNA.

How does rejuran work?

Cell regeneration: PNs encourage the production of new skin cells, leading to healthier skin.
Collagen production: PNs stimulate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production.
Wound healing: This reduces inflammation and promotes tissue repair.
Hydration: PNs can attract and retain moisture in the skin.

What can rejuran treat?

Improved skin texture: Rejuran can help reduce fine lines and minimize pores.
Enhanced skin elasticity: By stimulating collagen production, Rejuran can improve skin firmness.
Increased hydration: Rejuran can hydrate the skin, allowing it to appear glowy and dewy.
Acne scar improvement: Rejuran S is a more concentrated form of Rejuran Healer, and therefore has better effect for acne scars.

Rejuran Healer, Rejuran i and Rejuran S: What's the difference?

Rejuran Healer is the original injectable made of PN, formulated to target skin texture of the full face.
Rejuran i is specifically targeted for under-eye rejuvenation, and has been made to be a lighter viscosity.
Rejuran s is formulated to target acne scars, and is of a higher concentration and viscosity.

what is the downtime of Rejuran?

You may experience some mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, but these usually resolve within 2-3 days.

how many sessions of rejuran is needed?

The recommended treatment interval for Rejuran can vary depending on individual needs and desired results.

Typically, a series of 2-3 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance sessions every 6 months.

Polynucleotide vs Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PN or PDRN)?

It’s often confusing as these terms are used interchangeably! PNs are a broad category which includes PDRN. Rejuran is composed of PNs, and therefore includes PDRN.
